For the Youth of the Community
HSLQ Challenges
The community faces a challenge in keeping education a top priority for the youth and the undereducated. The desire of young people to be educated is often lost to the lure of gang membership. And in the home, making education a priority in the family sometimes takes second place to financial needs. It is important for the community to have visible role models that demonstrate the significance of education and provide understanding of goal attainment for the youth of the community.
